Hey-o!
This week and next week is gonna be killer!! Members have signed up for a meal every day. And I'll be sitting most of Saturday and Sunday! And I kinda stocked up my food for this week from last week.... so yeah! Oh well.
Ah, which reminds me, I went to a restaurant called 'Hay Loft' with the Millers, an older couple, had some tacos. Cool thing, I hear the couple always invites their neighbors (there were quite a few) along, but it was a little more casual than I'd like, but at least member missionary work is getting done there. Earlier that day, Bro. Miller was the sole deck-hand for a his friend that dived 180 feet to explore a ship-wreck that friend found 2 years ago.
Had an awesome time in church! Talked about having Faith in Christ, loved listening to the experiences that were shared. Some investigators were even there, so they were able to sit in a really awesome discussion. That discussion reminded me of Moroni's promise in Moroni 10:3-5, because the it states that we are to remember the tender mercies of the Lord. Which also reminds me of Wednesday the 25, when Elder Jeppson was on trade-offs with me. In studies, we were talking about tender mercies, how even little things can keep us going (like 'we have a nice carpet'). While door-knocking, a lady was talking about prayer and that sometimes answers come from little things, and I was thinking, "this is familiar, I wonder why, wish I could voice it", then Elder Jeppson told her about our studies, and I was like "oh! duh!"
Now ya'll, have a good week!!!
Love,
Elder Brian Stolp
